Important Dates for Summer Term

  • May 1, 2014
    Term officially begins.
  • May 7, 2014
    Due date for term tuition (first installment).
  • May 14, 2014
    Grade submission deadline for winter term grades for continuing students.
  • May 30, 2014
    Last day to enrol in graduate courses, declare an audit for a course or drop a graduate course without it appearing on the transcript.
  • June 10-18, 2014
    Spring Convocation
  • June 11, 2014
    Due date for second installment of term tuition for those paying in 2 installments.
  • June 27, 2014
    Last day to provide proof of Permanent Residency to reduce tuition fees to the domestic rate.
  • June 30, 2014
    Last day to withdraw from a graduate course beginning in the term without academic penalty.
  • July 18, 2014
    Final date for doctoral candidates to submit the thesis for examination to SGPS to complete the degree within the summer term or be eligible for Thesis Defense Only status for the fall 2014 term.
  • July 28, 2014
    Recommended deadline to submit to SGPS requests for changes to fall term registration status, and to apply to graduate for Autumn Convocation.
  • August 1, 2014
    Final date for masters candidates to submit the thesis for examination to SGPS to complete the degree within the summer term or be eligible for Thesis Defense Only status for the fall 2014 term.
  • August 29, 2014
    Grade submission deadline for students wishing to graduate at Autumn Convocation.
  • August 31, 2014
    Deadline for final submission of the thesis to complete the degree within the summer term and to graduate at Autumn Convocation.
    Term ends.
