Receiving Payment

At Western, different types of payments are issued through different systems:

  • Scholarships, Fellowships or Tuition Refunds

These payments are issued through Student Center.

  • Employment Income

Employment income, including pay received as a GTA, is issued through MyHR.

Student Center

Payments through Student Center

Graduate students with a credit balance in their tuition account receive payment through Student Center.

Student Center payments are issued every Tuesday evening, beginning the second Tuesday of each term.

Payments are issued by direct deposit. To receive your funds quickly and securely, you should ensure a bank account is set up. If no banking information is on file, a cheque will be issued, which may result in a delay of payment.
