Canada Research Training Awards Suite - Research Travel Supplements (CRTAS-RTS)
Award Overview
Applicants must have accepted and/or currently hold a master's or doctoral award from CIHR, NSERC, or SSHRC.
The CRTAS-RTS supports a minimum of two months (59 days) and a maximum of six months (184 days) of research travel.
You must start your research travel:
- on or after the application deadline date
- during an active master’s or doctoral award
- within one year of receiving the notice of award for a CRTAS-RTS

The Canada Research Training Awards Suite – Research Travel Supplements (CRTAS-RTS) provide additional funding to active master’s and doctoral award holders to help offset the costs of undertaking research travel within Canada or outside Canada for a defined period.

Submit the Completed Application to SGPS
Completed applications (electronic or hard copy) must be submitted to Erin Daley in the School of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies (edaley2@uwo.ca).
Electronic copies of your official transcripts are accepted.
If submitting the application electronically, please submit the completed application in a single pdf file.
Referees may forward hard copy appraisals or electronic copies directly to Erin Daley in the School of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies (edaley2@uwo.ca)
