Important Dates for Summer Term

  • May 1, 2012
    Term officially begins.
  • May 7, 2012
    Due date for term tuition (first installment).
  • May 14, 2012
    Grade submission deadline for Winter term grades for continuing students.
  • May 31, 2012
    Last day to enrol in graduate courses, declare an audit for a course or drop a graduate course without it appearing on the transcript.
  • June 11, 2012
    Due date for second installment of term tuition for those paying in 2 installments.
  • June 12-20, 2012
    Spring Convocation.
  • June 28, 2012
    Last day to provide proof of Permanent Residency to reduce tuition fees to the domestic rate.
  • June 29, 2012
    Last day to withdraw from a graduate course beginning in the term without academic penalty.
  • July 13, 2012
    Final date for doctoral candidates to submit the thesis for examination to SGPS to complete the degree within the Summer term or be eligible for Thesis Defense Only status for the Fall 2012 term.
  • July 26, 2012
    Recommended deadline to submit to SGPS requests for changes to term registration status, and to apply to graduate for Convocation.
  • August 3, 2012
    Final date for masters candidates to submit the thesis for examination to SGPS to complete the degree within the Summer term or be eligible for Thesis Defense Only status for the Fall 2012 term.
  • August 24, 2012
    Deadline for final thesis examination to complete the degree within the Summer term.
  • August 31, 2012
    Grade and thesis submission deadline for students wishing to graduate at Autumn Convocation.
    Term ends.
