Graduate Education Council

The Graduate Education Council is responsible and is an advisory to the Senate. The Council shall:
  1. Advise Senate on all matters under the jurisdiction of the Senate which are pertinent to graduate education or which are referred to the Council by the Senate, and shall determine policy on all such matters if so delegated by the Senate.
  2. serve as a central forum to approve or recommend to Senate academic policies as determined by Senate and set out in the “Approving Authority Document”.
  3. provide a representative and open forum for discussion and sharing of information and topics related to graduate education and postdoctoral scholarship.
