DAAD Scholarship for Summer Courses in Germany
DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) New York is pleased to announce the upcoming University Summer Course Grants for undergraduate, master's, and PhD students from the U.S. and Canada.
These scholarships offer students the chance to participate in three- to four-week summer courses in Germany in 2027.
Please note the application timeline:
- Application portal opens: September 1, 2026
- Deadline: October 30, 2026, at 23:59 (Central European Time)
These scholarships provide a wonderful opportunity for students to participate in summer courses conducted in German at various German universities and institutions. The courses primarily focus on literary, cultural, political, and economic aspects of modern and contemporary Germany including German Language for engineers and economists and the field of law. Alongside these academic offerings, students can also engage in advanced language learning and enjoy extracurricular programs that enhance their experience. In addition to academic instruction, the program includes intensive language training and cultural activities.
