- Monday, September 21: Beyond the Postdoc: Building Career Literacy for Canada’s Research Talent explores transferable skills, professional networks and strategies for navigating different career possibilities.
- Tuesday, September 22: Hear from professionals in academia, entrepreneurship and industry during Navigating a Career After the Postdoc. You can also learn how to deliver a stronger academic job talk during Better Job Talks.
- Wednesday, September 23: Discover how to turn graduate research into conference papers and journal articles, or join The Science of Focusing on What Really Matters for practical strategies to organize your work and priorities.
- Thursday, September 24: Learn about research funding through Mitacs, make the transition from an academic CV to an effective resume, or meet hiring decision-makers from Canada’s biomanufacturing and life sciences sector.
- Friday, September 25: Western will present Your Resume, Your Voice: Working Smarter with AI. This workshop will explore how to use generative AI to translate academic experience into employer-focused language, tailor a resume to specific opportunities and communicate your strengths without losing your authentic professional voice.
