Award Overview
Any registered graduate student, excluding those registered in MBA or thesis-defense only, is eligible for consideration.

The Graduate Bursary offers domestic and international graduate students in financial need an opportunity to apply for bursary support using a single application.
Students may receive funds from the Graduate Bursary and/or the SOGS Bursary, after their application is successfully assessed and evaluated by Western's Office of the Registrar.
As of 2023, an additional $500,000 per year is available to graduate students, on top of the more than $700,000 in existing bursary funding. In total, graduate students at Western have access to more than $1.2 million in bursary funding every year.

How to Apply:
Access the Bursary Application
Navigate to Student Financials > Financial Aid and Funding > Apply for Financial Assistance.
On the Apply for Financial Assistance page, select the link, "Click Here for Financial Assistance".
