The Graduate Diploma in Management is a pathway to the Accelerated MBA at Ivey Business School.

This new program at Ivey is a part-time credential (Graduate Diploma in Management) and is designed for non-business graduates, offering a strong foundation in business and leadership that meets the academic requirements for entry into the while-you-work Accelerated MBA program. The program is delivered through case-based, in-person learning at Ivey’s Toronto Campus.

This four-month program runs from May to August allowing students to pathway into the Accelerated MBA in November.

Admission Requirements

Applicants must possess a four-year degree from a recognized university or equivalent. The School of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies requires at least a 70% average across courses taken in the last two full-time years of the undergraduate degree. Equivalent qualifications may be considered based on substantial managerial experience gained within the applicants’ fields or professions.

Additional Requirements

Completion of Accelerated MBA for Non-Business Graduates Application which includes essays focused on work-experience to date.

English Language Proficiency

Applicants whose first language is not English must provide evidence of their proficiency in the use of the English language by a satisfactory achievement within the last two years in one of the following:

Applications are accepted on a rolling admission. Applications open annually in May and remain open until March (of the following year).
